Acknowledged as the independent voice of fleet, the Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) formed more than 40 years ago is dedicated to representing fleet decision makers and to helping them to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of their fleets. Issues relating to the environment, legislation, taxation and WLTP make the understanding of best practice ever more critical especially as today there is a much wider focus on employee mobility, whether it be in a company car, grey fleet or other forms of transportation.
Because of its independence, with no vested interest other than the well-being of the fleet industry ACFO enjoys close links with a number of Government departments including HM Treasury, HM Revenue and Customs, Department of Transport, Highways England and the DVLA.
Membership of ACFO provides access to a wealth of expert knowledge and advice, including free to attend national seminar programme covering key topical fleet issues. Membership is drawn from a wide cross-section of professional sectors including fleet and transport managers as well as procurement, HR and finance managers and directors, together with suppliers to the fleet industry.
