Jonathan heads up strategy for Centrica Innovations, established in 2017 to invest in new technology and ideas that will transform the way we live, work and move.

Prior to joining, Jonathan served as the global managing director of BP Ventures. He has 20-years of experience in various technology based business development and investment roles. He was the ventures director at QinetiQ in the UK where he helped create and spin-out several high-tech companies in sensors, software, data analysis and materials. In his early career, he had also worked for the Carl Zeiss Group in Germany to help develop their drug screening business.

Senior Technical Specialist – Electric Vehicle Infrastructures

Chris joined Cenex in early 2018 as a Senior Technical Specialist, leading Cenex activities relating to the impact of charging infrastructure on the energy system, including vehicle-to-grid. He is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) with a background in the energy and utilities industry and particularly in the areas of EV charging and Demand Side Response (DSR). Chris has had a varied career, also working in areas such as tidal/wave generation, virtual power plants, energy storage and smart homes. He is passionate about improving the world we live in through decarbonisation of energy and transport, and he aims to do this by applying his experience in engineering, product development, strategy and innovation to tackle the key challenges facing this transition.

Chris Noyce

PR & Parliamentary Affairs Executive, The Anaerobic Digestion & Bioresources Association (ADBA)

Chris’s role at ADBA is to promote and raise the profile of AD and its benefits in the press and in Parliament. Before joining ADBA in December 2016, he spent four years managing energy-related research funding at the Economic and Social Research Council and has also worked as a journalist in Chile. Chris has a background in international politics and sustainability and is passionate about helping to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy.
